At Bay View Eye Care Center, each member of our vision care team is selected by Dr. Dally based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients.

Contact lenses are our specialty for both scleral contacts and soft lenses, especially for those hard to fit individuals.
Dr. Dally is certified in all optometric fields and has a strong interest in treating dry eye patients.

We provide consultation, pre, and post-operative care for patients interested in Lasik and other laser vision correction procedures.

We offer easy access parking and are fully equipped for ADA. We make it convenient to visit our state of the art practice.

Dr. David Dally, O.D.

Optometrist

Dr. Dally was born and raised here in the Bay Area. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree at The Ohio State University of Optometry. His passion for optometry is rooted in the ability to help people live better lives through better vision. His training at Ohio State taught him that education is vital in proper patient care. Dr. Dally also believes in preventative, patient centered eye care.

Dr. Dally’s wide array of clinical experiences have helped him be confident in providing full-scope vision care, treating various ocular diseases including dry eyes, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age related macular degeneration as well as co-managing LASIK, PRK and cataract surgery. Dr. Dally also enjoys fitting scleral contact lenses, prescribing computer glasses and providing comprehensive eye exams for people of all ages.

Dr. Afsaneh Mahajerani, O.D.

Optometrist

Dr. Mahajerani is a Bay Area native. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Davis and her Doctorate Degree in Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry. She assisted in the implementation of a community optometry care facility at the Martin Luther King Jr. Clinic in Richmond for the indigent. She later received the Association of Schools and College of Optometry (ASCO) Ambassador Award for outstanding leadership.

Dr. Mahajerani has gained extensive experience in the pre and post-operative care of LASIK surgery patients while working alongside Dr. Mandel, who is a well known corneal and refractive surgeon in the Bay Area. She ran her own practice in San Jose for over a decade before relocating and is delighted to have returned to the Bay Area.

In addition to her experience in pre and post operative Lasik surgery, she specializes in cataract assessment and prevention, night vision problems, and contact lenses for both dry eyes and astigmatism.
